In this final piece to my Pretty Pregnant series, I will share my best, not so kept secret! Last, but definitely not least: the most important tip I can share with you as not only a pregnant woman but a beauty expert in general is this: DRINK WATER!!!!!
I hate when I hear anyone say, “I hate water.” Really? How can you feel quenched or refreshed on a hot day with any other beverage? I seriously have a hard time understanding how it is so hard for anyone to just drink a few cups of water a day! I have a water cup that holds 24 oz. That’s 3 cups! Its pretty easy to get down also. If you can drink 3 of them, that’s all the water you need in a day's time. Then you can go have all your other drinks that you insist are so much better than just plain water!

ill admit, I do have my one cup of coffee per day, and I also enjoy the occasional caffeine-free, clear soda. Then you have to have your milk and juice as well. I still manage to drink at least four 24 oz cups of water per day, and I somehow miraculously do not live in the restroom either!
I am also happy to say that I made it almost 34 weeks without a UTI or kidney infection, which I suffered from chronically during my first pregnancy. I also have gained much more weight than typical, and I still have very little swelling in my hands and feet. This is due to all of the water I drink. |

In addition to those health benefits, it also has helped to keep my skin hydrated. My face may be blotchy some days, but it is not covered in dry patches! I also have gained much more weight than with my previous two pregnancies, and between the water I drink and the lotions I use on a daily basis, my skin is still smooth and soft, and I haven’t gained any new stretch marks! I am also hoping that this habit will help me to lose the excess weight more quickly after delivery! (please keep your fingers crossed for that one!) Well, I hope you enjoyed this series! Stay tuned for pictures of my little biscuit when she is born, and I'm sure a weight loss series as well!
